Dog Runs
Although they all need their exercise and play time, some breeds of dog do need to be kept under control or contained when left alone in the garden and the best way to achieve this is with a specially made dog run. For those dogs that are best kenneled permanently outside such as working terriers, lurchers and some gundogs, there are a selection of wooden and plastic kennels available including some that incorporate a dog run.
Rabbit Hutches and Rabbit Runs
As a much loved member of the family, your rabbit deserves the best accommodation you can afford to keep him keep warm in cold weather, provide protection from cats, dogs and foxes and to give him space for exercise. Rabbit hutches are available in a choice of styles ranging from simple felt roof pent models with single nesting through to 2 tier and built in run types. Many owners choose to provide a separate rabbit run enclosure which can be moved around the garden depending on the weather etc.
Bird Aviaries and Chicken Coups
From small exotics to pigeons, keeping birds is a fun pastime for all the family. Housing your birds in a specially made garden aviary ensures they get exercise and stay secure all year round. If freshly laid eggs appeal to you, you'll be needing a chicken coup to house your hens and provide protection from Mr Fox. Remember though, if foxes aren't a problem and you do let them roam around the garden, you'll be hunting high and low for those eggs as chickens do have a tendency for laying in strange places when let loose!
