Young Sweet Peas ready to plant in your garden
If you would like the earliest sweet pea flowers but don’t have the facilities to start them under cover earlier in the year then the ‘Garden Ready’ Sweet Pea Plants could be the answer.
Expertly grown using only the very best quality, hand-sorted Unwins seed, young Sweet Pea Plants will be dispatched in early March ready for you to plant out as soon as weather conditions are right.
Plants are supplied in multi-sown modules with each module containing at least 6 strong seedlings of the named variety.
Each module can be planted unbroken directly where the plants are to flower. (This is the recommended way of planting if you are growing up netting or trellis). If you prefer to grow individual plants as cordons, the seedlings can be gently and carefully separated making sure there is as little root disturbance as possible.
Although plants have been partially hardened off before despatch, if late frosts are forecast they will need some protection until fully hardened off.
